Find Paradise Today

You've tried all the healing tools, but...

Babe, You are Not Broken.

You are not a project in need of fixing.

You are growing, breathing, nuanced human being who has a lot more going for them than you think.

  • You are sitting with your discomfort

  • you are actively trying to change the things you don’t like about yourself

  • you are showing up for your friends, your family, your self

  • all while holding down a job

  • taking care of a pet or plants or a person

  • and trying to get enough protein

You are not broken.

You have been taught to chase the wrong goal

The goal is not to be a perfectly healed person who never gets triggered, has a lengthy morning routine with meditation, journaling, cold exposure, sun exposure, high protein, low carb, a litre of water- you get the idea.

Majority of healing and transformational services sell you the idea that "you are broken" and whatever they are selling will fix you.

We are spiritual beings

in a human form.

We make mistakes,

we skip morning yoga,

we are still valid.

We are here to explore being human and that means:

  • to be imperfect

  • to try and fail

  • to find ourselves

  • to find our community

  • to find pleasure

  • and to find something to do everything day that makes us feel powerful.

Because you are powerful.

I bet you might even know what that thing is that makes you feel powerful, alive, full of joy.

I bet you’ve tasted it, but it was fleeting.

And now the marketing machine has made you think that the only way to access that again is to become a perfect person, by buying whatever tea, supplement, or bio-hacking thing they are selling.

What if it could be easier?

What if you don’t have to heal every single wound to access your highest potential?

What if slowing down and finding joy and creativity was the real hack?

Yes, the thing we have been taught to see as shameful, the “guilty pleasures” as they say.

What if this was the way to a life that lights you up?

The way to more money, a thriving community, abundant love, and true fulfillment?

Well I'm here to tell you, it is.

We’ve seen hustle culture fail and become toxic.

So what is left for us?

What if we try the opposite?

That thing that we never really have time for, but we ache for?

What if we found a way to that?

That, is The Paradise Path.

Here's How the Paradise path works:

We start with 1. Ground :

because yes "healing" is important but it isn’t the final destination.

“Healing” really just means grounding your nervous system.

It means taking the rush of fear out of everyday situations.

"No vagus nerve we don’t need to have a panic attack in the grocery store, I promise we are safe."

So we ground, we clear out the shit and we get back to baseline,

which is safety.

A lot of healing programs will leave you here, "Okay we did it, we feel safe! Now back to work."

Not on this path.

The next steps are the most important and most overlooked.

If we want to thrive in our world, find our people, find the work that lights us up and brings us all the abundance we’ve been manifesting, the next step is...

2. Feel:

This is the part of thriving we love to skip.

It is why people spiritually bypass, because they don’t want to feel the hard things.

But spoiler alert, it won’t kill you.

It just may feel that way for a moment, but stay with me.

Once we feel our feelings, and build emotional resilience, aka: "not letting the feelings take up more space then they need, instead letting them come and go"

We can actually move onto the fun stuff, and I promise the fun stuff is next, but we can’t get to fun without feeling, that is just bypassing.

If you don't feel: then you take all the crap with you into the fun and it becomes an escape.

Not the vibe.

Then we move into

3. GLOW:

This is everyone’s favourite part.

This is where we find pleasure.

And sometimes pleasure feels exhausting, to go out and do things, so in those times we just rest.

But once you’ve rested,

then we play.

We embrace our inner child’s wisdom and do things that we can get lost in:

Going on an day trip

Dreaming of your future

Eating fruit with our tits out in the sunshine

Swimming naked in the ocean

Indulging in mouth watering desserts

Going to cafes in a cute outfit just to read a book and feel the fantasy

Be WHIMSICAL

Dress up as fairies & have your friends over for a tea party

Have HOT SEX

Walk your dog and watch the joy of them taking in the world

These are things you may already do, or don’t.

But the point of doing it after ground, and feel, is they are no longer an escape from our pain.

Once we’ve cleared out the emotional baggage,

our neural pathways are primed for new experiences.

We must fill those pathways with PLEASURE.

The most healing, life altering, fulfilling thing we can possibly do, is play.

Okay but we don’t want to stop here. We can’t, unfortunately, just play forever.

When you do it right, it fills you up so you can go back into the world and get shit done.

Now we are doing it from a full cup and our work flows better.

There is one more critical step before we get back to work, and that is:

4. Create:

Creativity is a super power we all possess.

It is what really sets us apart as humans from the other species:

Our ability to take information and inspiration and make something out of nothing.

Whether that is a solution to a complex problem

a beautiful sketch

a short film

a poem

or a delicious meal.

Creation, creativity, is how we hack our brains to stop being so anxious and annoying.

See, our brains are wired to solve problems. In our modern world of on demand food, endless wardrobes, a roof over our heads and running water, we don’t have a ton of serious problems.

So our brains get restless.

You know when everything is going pretty well but then you get ~anxious~?

That is a brain that lacks creative stimulation.

We need to give it a problem, so it stops making problems.

But here is the catch for this step, this creative task needs to have no outcome.

It doesn't matter if your poem sucks, if your drawing looks like chicken scratch, or your solution actually doesn’t work.

What matters is the process.

So in this step we create

without expectations,

we experiment,

we try new things,

we FAIL.

And it may be weird at first.

In a capitalist society if we fail we basically die.

But we have to rewire that if we are ever going to be happy.

You can not succeed on your 20th podcast if you don’t make 17 that absolutely suck, and 3 okay ones.

We need to experiment.

We need to have permission to be bad, to fail, to have fun in the process and stop taking everything so seriously.

Finally,

once we’ve done these four steps,

we’ve grounded our nervous system, we’ve felt our feelings,

we’ve found our pleasure,

we’ve used our creative energy, then we can finally move into:

5. Rise

This is the step our society is most familiar with, but it comes last for a reason.

This is finding work, identity, and values that align with our highest self.

Most of hustle culture tells you this is the first step:

"Find your identity, find your passion, and HUSTLE!! Not working???

HUSTLE HARDER!!!!!!

Still not working????

Well that must be YOUR fault for being a lazy sack of shit."

Okay boomer.

Rise is where we take everything we’ve just learned about ourselves and apply it as a foundation to build
our daily paradise.

We can’t rise without grounding, without feeling, without pleasure, and without creativity.

Rise is where we build a life and identity based on who we actually are and what we actually want to create.

A sustainable life that light us up and aligns with our values.

A life that truly, deeply fulfills us.

That is Rise.

And This is

The Paradise Path.

Your Highest Self Awaits

So how does the micro retreat work?

the paradise path micro-retreat

  • For one week you will get an email each day with everything you need to complete the retreat tasks. Some days are about resting, some are more active.

  • Each day has a short video to explain the step and its science. Plus daily tasks like journal prompts, activities, & bonus guided audio journies.

  • We have built a micro-retreat community platform to share your experiences and insights each day and connect with other like-minded souls!

I used to think pleasure was an escape.

We exited the highway after my first epic camping music festival.

Looking around at the cookie-cutter suburban neighbourhood, I suddenly felt a wave of dread: "This is my life?"

I couldn't handle it, I began drinking every day to numb the pain of the mundane.

I knew I was deeply unhappy.

After one too many drunken adventures into strangers' beds, I got chlamydia.

Laying in my bed for two weeks in excruciating pain, I knew something had to change.

I could no longer find my pleasure in an escape.

The shift began small, deciding to go to a concert, alone and sober.

I was terrified of the change.

But I ended up having the best time.

I got to see some of my favourite artists up close and really feel my body and the enjoyment of the music.

On the subway home I ran into one of the opening artists and got to say hi.

If I was drinking and partying, I would have missed that moment.

I realized true pleasure is not about an escape, it is about being present enough to truly feel the joy in your experiences.
